Division (and welcome back!)

I was able to get so much blogging done in the first weeks of school but have since fallen off the bandwaggon as the demands of my classroom have grown. But you know what? I've wanted to blog for a long time. In the past I've started blogs and then abandoned them when I get busy. I'm bound and determined to make time for this! I want to make this blog work.

We've been working the past few weeks on division. Division is slowly built upon through each grade beginning around 3rd grade but really comes down to full force long division in 5th. It's the only opperation that feels new to them in 5th and is ultimately the most challenging.

We've tried everything lol. And I say this with a little desperation in my voice. Division has been a great struggle. I think we might finally be at the point where we can practice independently.
